If you are interested in serving your community, there are many volunteer opportunities across North Carolina and various ways to find needs that fit your skill set.
Why should I volunteer?
Volunteering helps others AND is good for your health! Those who volunteer about 2 hours a week report positive psychological outcomes and fewer physical limitations than non-volunteers. Volunteering as a child or teen can help teach empathy, strengthen life-skills, and promote connectedness with the community.
